GoGirl Story 15: Lori and Yosemite

The GoGirls are very excited to continue to sharing our GoGirl Story Series.  We are calling for all you lovely ladies to share your GoGirl stories with us: times when you needed us, thought of us, or used us.  Email us at info@go-girl.com to participate.  We will post a new story each week or so and the person submitting will get a free GoGirl for sharing.

Enjoy Lori's GoGirl Story:

My husband Ron and I planned a backpacking trip through Yosemite with our friends Martin & Michelle.  I discovered the Go-Girl and thought it would be a great idea to bring with me.  Well, I was right!!!  I don't know how I lived without one of these before!

I no longer have to worry about Ron sneaking up behind me with his camera while I'm squatting behind a tree with my hiking shorts down around my knees and my feet wide apart just hoping I don't pee on my hiking boots!!!  I can now just slip the Go-Girl under my shorts and underwear and pee.  I even spelled my name in the dirt!!!  Ha ha. I was always envious that my brother could do that and I couldn't.  Michelle was SO jealous when I showed her my Go-Girl on our backpacking trip.  I know what Michelle will be getting for Christmas.

Love the story Lori and that you are going to share the wealth with your friend Michelle.  A GoGIrl and GoGirl T-shirt are on its way to you now.

GoGirl GoTour @ Feed My Starving Children in Minneapolis, MN

GoGirls at Feed My Starving Children

Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Minnesota-based global hunger relief organization.  This program relies 100% on volunteer labor and I’m proud to say that our GoGirls rallied up, rolled up their sleeves and hand packed hundreds of meals for the hungry children in Haiti.  And it was a lot of fun! GoGirl Story 14: Cricket & the Stakeout

The Go Girls are very excited to continue to sharing our GoGirl Story Series.  We are calling for all you lovely ladies to share your GoGirl stories with us: times when you needed us, thought of us, or used us.  Email us at info@go-girl.com to participate.  We will post a new story each week or so and the person submitting will get a free GoGirl for sharing.

Enjoy Cricket's GoGirl Story:

I am a retired undercover police office and let me tell you the only thing I had to use back in the 90's was a plastic cup and a funnel.  It worked but it was a pain to use in small enclosed spaces like I was so often found myself having to use it.  Oh, how I wished I had a Go-Girl back then!!!
I remember my first experience of being in a Ford Mustang while watching a house that we were waiting on a search warrant.  I was assigned to one end of the street and my partner to the other end.  After about ten hours it was mandatory to use the cup and funnel.  I had used numerous times an empty milk jug and and funnel while in the surveillance van.  But these small quarters required a smaller catching device.  My biggest mistake was what I did with the urine after I was done.  I didn't like the thought of keeping it in the car with me so when I was sure there was no activity (about 4:30 am) I poured it out the driver's side window where it landed in a grassy area.  About 30 minutes later I watched a man in his P.J.'s and Robe open his garage door and head out with his dog for an early morning stroll.  It took the dog all but about 30 seconds to come running up next to my vehicle to smell the ground right below my window.  So, I learned a valuable lesson from that mistake.  Keep the urine in the car until I can dispose of it properly!

Cricket we wish we could have been there for you too.  Talk about an exciting job! There is a GoGirl and GoGirl T-shirt on its way to you now.
